The training program content is drawn from eight occupational fields namely: Electronics, Electricity, Machining and fitting, Motor vehicle mechanics, Wood working, plumbing and Sheet metal, Welding , Building and concrete practice.

Ndejje University First year Engineering students are to acquire basic engineering Skills in Electrical, Mechanical and Civil engineering occupations from Nakawa Vocational training Institute .

 

The overall objective is to empower the students with basic engineering skills.

In order to meet the overall training objective, several teaching methodologies are to be used and these include:

- Lectures and introductory theory lessons

- Group discussions and brain storming sessions

- Practical demonstrations

- Individual practical assignments

- Individual assessment

- Industrial tours
