Tiner International School of Beauty Hairdressing Art & Fashion Designing
Tiner International School of Beauty was established in 1995 with a purpose of training young people into skills, whom society believed to be failures due to the fact that they could not join higher learning institutions or universities.
12 years later this has changed. These days even those who have acquired degrees from various universities join our school for the same skills, in order to create work or be employed in Beauty and Fashion world, as these industries are changing tremendously around the world, especially in Uganda, and the number of people, who turn up for training, are growing day by day.
A large number of graduates working in the Beauty, Hairdressing and Fashion industry in Uganda are a product of our school; this confirms the results of our professional training. Our students are trained to use their own imaginations and turn them into skills as well as the knowledge imparted to them. Modeling is one of our core courses which has produced many of the Beauty pageant contestants e.g Miss tourism planet 1990 and 2000 consecutively. The school does not only train them, we do design their contesting garments and make-up.
The school has a hostel which accomodates those coming from far at a fee. The school also has got a modern salon for its students to do hands on training in contact with clients.
Tiner International School of Beauty Hairdressing Art & Fashion Designing is a pioneer school of its kind in Uganda. With our quality training we aim to raise the productivity of youths and adults in the community, at the same time to improve the Hair, Beauty and Fashion industries in the country.

Ugandan Fashion Designer Needed
I'm not sure if any students read this but i am looking for a Ugandan fashion designer for my new business called 'Charming Posies'. You can find out more about the new company on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/CharmingPosies).
Basically, our business is all about floral feminine fashion though i want my dresses to be made with African fabric (the fabric MUST be floral). I have several ideas for designs and can show you images of dresses that i like (if you look on my Facebook page you'll see the kinds of things that i like). You can also check out my other Facebook page called 'Loving my African roots' (http://www.facebook.com/Lovingmyafricanroots), which shows you African-inspired dresses that i like.
I hope that we can form a good working relationship. I am from London though my parents are Ugandan and i want the clothes made over there. I'll search for Ugandan dressmakers, and as the designer, you can inform them of the designs (though you will also show me). It'll be a great way for you to be paid by me and to get your designs shown to the world. I will pay for the materials and for them to get made and i will sell them internationally via the Charming Posies brand.
Please get in contact with me if you are interested at admin@charmingposies.com, or via a Facebook message.
Thanks
Caroline
